Set off on a luxury cruise like no other, beginning your journey with two nights in Tenerife before your 11-night All Inclusive cruise from Tenerife to Barbados. End your trip off in style with a 3-night stay at the Fairmont Barbados.
Day 1 - 2
Arrive in Tenerife and transfer to the Ritz Calton Abama, where you will stay for 2 nights. This resort on the west coast of Tenerife boasts an impressive clifftop setting with panoramic ocean views. The secluded, sandy beach is reached by funicular and boasts no less than seven swimming pools.
Day 3
Depart your hotel and make your way to the port, where you will board Evrima and begin your 11-night All Inclusive cruise.
Day 4
The first stop on this cruise is El Hierro, Spain. El Hierro nonetheless remains one of the least visited and most pristine of the Canary Islands, with no buildings higher than two stories, no elevators and only one set of traffic lights. A UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, El Hierro’s remarkably transparent waters and vibrant underwater life make it a scuba diver’s paradise. With its peaks and plateaus, volcanic cones and plunging gorges, arid deserts and humid woodlands, this magical island welcomes travellers to not so much another country as another world.
Day 5 - 6
The next two days are days at sea onboard The Ritz Carlton's Evrima. While at sea, take some time to recharge before your next port of call. Lounge by the pool, visit the spa, treat your tastebuds at one of the many onboard restaurants or enjoy some entertainment.
Day 7
Next the cruise will dock at Porto Novo, Cape Verde. A jewel in the Cape Verde archipelago, Santa Antão is rich with stunning vistas of both mountains and sea, and the city of Porto Novo is the island’s gatekeeper. A wide array of marine life awaits the scuba diver beneath the crystal clear surface of the surrounding waters, while the less amphibious will enjoy a scenic and challenging hike in the mountainous interior that has earned the island the nickname, “the Switzerland of Cape Verde.” For those who prefer to sit back and relax as they take in the sights, enjoy a drive along the scenic coastal road that winds its way from Porto Novo to the town of Ribeira Grande.
Day 8
The next stop is Mindelo, Cape Verde. A lively port city on Cape Verde’s São Vicente, Mindelo is characterised by its colourful colonial architecture and soulful Morna music. Situated off West Africa’s coast, enjoy the picturesque Matiota beach, set against a backdrop of impressive volcanic peaks, to the Belem Tower, a replica of the original in Lisbon and home to a Sea Museum, there’s plenty to explore in Mindelo. At nearly 2,500 feet, Mount Verde is the highest point on São Vicente and makes for an easy daytrip for a majestic hike with sweeping panoramic views.
Day 9 - 13
The next 5 days are days at sea onboard The Ritz Carlton's Evrima. While at sea, take some time to recharge before your next port of call. Lounge by the pool, visit the spa, treat your tastebuds at one of the many onboard restaurants or enjoy some entertainment.
Day 14 - 16
Your cruise will end in Bridgetown Barbados. Disembark the ship and head to the Fairmont Royal Pavilion, where you will check in for three nights. From the newly restored beachfront guestrooms to the shimmering pool and gourmet restaurants, Fairmont Royal Pavilion offers the elite secluded getaways on the platinum coast of Barbados. Choose from twenty-four ground-floor beachfront suites that enjoy direct access to the beach or select a sumptuous villa for the whole family.
Day 17
Check out from hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight home.
