Since 1991 Star Clippers has been offering travellers the ultimate cruising alternative – a tall ship ‘mega-yacht’ experience. These yachts are modelled on the classic sailing clipper ships that ruled the sea during the 19th century. There are no rigid schedules onboard the Star Clippers, with guests free to do as they wish with their days and evenings. Dream

Cabins onboard Star Clippers will make guests feel as though they are staying in a home away from home. Cabins have been thoughtfully decorated in a traditional style with everything being designed with comfort, ease and efficiency at the forefront. With all rooms offering all necessary amenities, including a double bed or twin beds that can be converted to a queen bed, marble lined bathrooms, a private safe, a TV video system and DVD player, a hair dryer and comfortable furnishings, guests can relax and enjoy their unforgettable cruise.

Eat

Guests will enjoy a delectable culinary adventure during their time onboard Star Clippers with an international menu of cuisine from around the globe. Your day will begin with a choice of either a delicious continental breakfast with Parisian croissants or sweet Danish pastries, or a full breakfast with fresh tropical fruit and crispy bacon, grilled sausage and omelettes. For lunch, guests will enjoy a mouth watering buffet of seafood, salads and grilled favourites, and if the day includes a stop at one of the paradisical islands then, if weather permits, guests will be treated to an outdoor barbecue on the shore. Dinner will be served in the beautifully decorated dining room where guests will enjoy the finest culinary dishes paired with a selection of the finest wines.

Play

There is so much to do during your days at sea onboard Star Clippers. Begin your day with a morning gymnastics class, take part in a scavenger hunt, or spend a day relaxing at the onboard swimming pool. Take advantage of the wide range of complimentary water sports on offer including water-skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding and windsurfing. Alternatively, learn about the sailing techniques used by the ship’s marine experts, a truly unique cruise experience. Guests will help the crew hoist the sails, climb the mast, and tie marine knots and then, at night, the ship’s officers will teach guests how to navigate with the help of the stars. Guests will also enjoy local music and arts performances with Star Clippers inviting local performers, folk groups and musicians onboard for a true authentic experience.

Unwind

Star Clippers offers guests free daily yoga and meditation on selected Yoga-themed sailing, the perfect way to escape your daily worries and to truly unwind and relax. Yoga glasses take place in the morning on the ship’s sun-warmed teak decks with the calming fresh sea air. Guests will then enjoy meditation just before sunset. All sessions are carried out by expert yoga teachers who will also teach guests the philosophy of yoga and offer advice on how to practice at home. Also be sure to enjoy a relaxing massage carried out by expert therapists.
