place DAY 1 - Arrive Mysuru

Arrive Mysuru

Arrive at Bangalore and meet your guide before transferring to Mysuru, where you can check-in to your hotel for the next three nights and relax.

Mysuru

Spend a full day exploring Mysuru with a visit to Maharaja Palace - a treasure trove of exquisite carvings. Afterwards, travel to Chamundi Temple, which is situated on a hill, high above the city. In the evening witness the majestical Mysore Palace illuminated against the nighttime sky.

Continue your city tour with a visit to Jaganmohan Palace. It has a façade which gives the impression of a temple. Inside is Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery which houses world-famous gold-leaf paintings. Visit Lalitha Mahal Palace, which was originally built for the viceroy of India. Today it is a hotel with architecture inspired by St. Paul’s Cathedral. Afterwards, stroll around the 125-year-old Devraja Market.

place DAYS 4 - 5 - Mysuru - Nagarhole

Mysuru - Nagarhole

Take a two-hour transfer to Nagarhole National Park, where you will check-in at a lodge for the next two nights before setting off on an evening safari. Opened in 1955 as a wildlife sanctuary, Nagarhole was upgraded to a national park in 1988, and declared a tiger reserve in 1999. Traverse the national park in search of elephants, gaurs, deer and the elusive tiger.

Nagarhole - Coorg

After breakfast, check-out and take a transfer to Coorg, the drive north to the land of coffee and spice plantations takes approximately two hours. Upon arrival at the hotel where you will stay for the next two nights, the remainder of the day is at leisure.

Coorg

Explore Coorg and its holy Omkeshwar Temple. Then escape the city’s hustle and bustle with a visit to stunning Abbey Falls and Raja’s Seat. Situated 9kms away in Madikeri, Abbey Falls is located amidst the lush spread of coffee plantations and is considered one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Karnataka state.

place DAY 8 - Coorg - Hassan - Chikmangalur

Coorg - Hassan - Chikmangalur

Transfer to Hassan, stopping enroute at Shravanbelagola - a Jain pilgrim centre. There is a climb of approximately. 200 steps to reach the main temple. Afterwards, transfer to Chikmangalur and check-in to your hotel for the next two nights.

Explore the magnificent Hoysala Temple Complex with full-day excursion to Belur and Halebid, followed by lunch. Then travel to the Chennakeshava temple at Belur. These two temples - dedicated to different deities - boast the finest examples of Hoysala workmanship.

Travel today to Hampi, an area that once boasted extraordinary wealth and was the centre of Hindu rule for 200 years. Check-in to your hotel for the next three nights.

Hampi

Spend a day exploring the ruins, temples and monuments of Hampi. While these sites are no longer used for worship, they are still held in great reverence. Must-see attractions include Vittala Temple, Lotus Mahal, the ancient Lord Virupaksh temple, Mahanavami Dibba, the underground Shiva temple, Krishna temple, the Stepped Well and Hazara Rama temple.

Spend the day at leisure enjoying the hotel facilities, or perhaps chose to take a tour of the Raya Trail, a collection of guided walks through more of the Hampi ruins.

Hampi - Goa

Take a transfer to Hubli Airport and fly to Goa where you will be taken to your hotel for a three night stay. Relax on sun-drenched beaches and soak up the picturesque views of breathtaking Goa. Experience Old Goa, with its majestic churches and imposing cathedrals. Later, tuck into luscious lobsters under a starlit sky.

Goa
