Days 1 - 3
Touch down in vibrant Vancouver for a two-night pre-cruise stay. Soak up the stunning scenery from your stylish harbourfront hotel, ideally located for discovering the city’s alluring mix of outdoor adventures and urban charm. On day three, set off on the Celebrity Solstice, bound for Alaska.
Day 4
Enjoy your first glimpse of Alaska as you sail into the complex labyrinth of fjords, bays and lush green islands that make up one of the world’s greatest cruising routes, the Inside Passage. Take advantage of the long daylight hours in the summer months to spot an abundance of native wildlife, including orca whales, mountain goats, bald eagles, bears, puffins, sea otters and much more.
Day 5
Arrive in Icy Strait Point, where a captivating blend of spectacular natural beauty and rich Indigenous culture awaits. Learn about the Tlingit community, who have called this area home for thousands of years, sample some of the local seafood or explore the Alaskan wilderness by boat, gondola or on foot.
Day 6
Cruise the Hubbard Glacier, making your way through icy waters until you come face-to-face with the monumental majesty of the Hubbard Glacier. Spanning approximately 7 miles wide, 76 miles long and as tall as a 30-story building, the largest river of ice in North America is staggering in its beauty and scale. Take in the incredible views of its ice face from the ship and watch as massive chunks of ice calve off and crash into the sea.
Day 7
Welcome to the most remote capital city in the world, accessible only by boat or plane! Alongside its fascinating gold rush history, Juneau is also a gateway to endless outdoor adventures. Discover the city’s charming downtown, explore the lush 50-acre Glacier Gardens in the Tongass National Forest or marvel at the awe-inspiring Mendenhall Glacier nearby.
Day 8
Known as the 'Salmon Capital of the World' due to its abundance of all five species of Pacific salmon, Ketchikan is a premier destination for both commercial and recreational fishing. It is also the ancestral home of the Tlingit people, who have carved the world's largest collection of totem poles. If you’re in the mood for an adventure, explore the wild rainforest outside of the town before savouring a sumptuous feast of succulent Alaskan crab.
Day 9
As you sail back through the Inside Passage towards Vancouver, take a moment to relax and reflect on your remarkable journey as you sip a drink in the Sky Observation Lounge, gazing out at the incredible scenery through the floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows.
Days 10 - 12
Arrive in Vancouver in the early morning, disembark the ship and check in to your waterfront hotel for a two-night stay. There’s time to see more of the city’s sights before you depart on day 12.
