Day 1

Begin your journey with a 1 night pre cruise stay at The Oberoi Beach Resort in Mauritius. This hotel is perfectly situated amongst 20 acres of lush, tropical gardens on the shore of Turtle Bay – a natural marine park with a colourful coral reef. Take advantage of the waterfront location with diving, water skiing, windsurfing and sailing all on offer.

The cruise will begin at Port Louis, the multicultural capital of Mauritius. Before setting sail, explore this busy city which is home to numerous cultural and historical treasures. A historic site not to be missed by visitors and locals alike is Fort Adelaide, a national heritage monument offering spectacular views of the surrounding area. Another highlight in Port Louis is Pamplemousse Botanical Garden where you will discover an abundance of plant species.

The first stop on your cruising adventure will be the beautiful island of St. Mary. Located off the east coast of Madagascar, this tranquil island features a landscape of spectacular beauty with lush vegetation, breath-taking waterfalls, and beautiful natural pools. Also home to a large variety of orchids, it is a nature lovers paradise.

The next stop is Île aux Nattes, a small island just south of St. Mary known for its stunning natural beauty. Explore the beautiful coral reef which surrounds the island with snorkelling or diving. The island shores are also home to natural pools which offers the perfect place to swim or relax. Alternatively, why not walk along the islands coastal paths and explore the welcoming little villages dotted around.

Day 6

Dock at Tamatave, situated 350 kilometres north east of Antananarivo. This city is the capital of the Atsinanana region and the island’s largest commercial port. Tamatave is drenched in history with visitors being able to admire its numerous 19th century remains whilst walking the streets. Take a ride in a rickshaw into the heart of the markets of Bazar Kely or Bazar Be. Don’t miss the opportunity to walk along Avenue de l’Indépendance which is bordered by gorgeous coconut trees.

The next day is a day at sea aboard Le Champlain where guests can recharge before their next adventure. Why not spend the day swimming in the pool or relax while sunbathing.

Dock at Pointe des Galets, the main port on the island of La Réunion. The old town of the Port highlights the area’s rich history, which is connected to transport. You will have the opportunity to explore the former house of the Réunion Railway and Port Company, its marine cemetery and its bustling covered market.
