Beginning in Auckland, you'll spend two nights at a hotel in the city before setting off on your Azamara cruise. First heading north, you can enjoy the beaches and laidback ambience of the Bay of Islands before travelling across the water to tiny Norfolk Island in the South Pacific. Back near New Zealand's shores, you'll work your way down the coast stopping at New Plymouth, Wellington, Picton and Dunedin on the way, before visiting Kaikoura, Napier and Tauranga as you sail back towards Auckland.

Bordered by the Tasman Sea, the Scottish-influenced city of Dunedin has a youthful, energetic vibe courtesy of its large university, whilst white sand beaches and the nearby Otago Peninsula offer the chance to soak up sea air and search for unique wildlife including penguins and albatrosses.
