Day 1 - 3
After flying into Cairns, meet your transfer to Port Douglas where you’ll spend three nights at the Port Douglas Peninsula Boutique Hotel. This adult-only retreat boasts an unrivalled location overlooking Four Mile Beach and 34 modern rooms with stunning views. During your time here you’ll enjoy a boat trip to the Great Barrier Reef, where you can swim and snorkel amongst a variety of fascinating marine life - sure to be a day to remember for years to come.
Day 4
Travel to Cairns, where you’ll board Scenic Eclipse, The World’s First Discovery Yacht™. Get ready to depart Australia on your ultra-luxe home for the next 12 days.
Day 5 - 6
Your first few days at sea allow you to relax in your sumptuous suite with Butler service and explore the 6-star luxury on board.
Day 7
The largest island in the Solomon Islands, Guadalcanal Island greets you with a lush rainforest surrounded by white sand beaches dotted with swaying palm trees. Learn about the island’s pivotal role in World War II or join a local guide for a tour of the city.
Day 8
The views are amazing as you navigate to Owarahu, so make sure you take a moment to appreciate the panorama from the ship’s observation deck. There’s time to snorkel or kayak around the area’s colourful coral reefs before discovering the island’s ancient traditions and authentic culture.
Day 9
This surely must be heaven on Earth! Sparkling lagoons brimming with marine life, deserted beaches, crystalline caves and charming villages create a picture-perfect landscape on Ndende Island, whilst traditional island culture and interesting birdlife add another dimension.
Day 10
A premier spot for snorkelling, the five islands of Vanikoro are surrounded by a spectacular barrier reef. Take your pick from a selection of watersports or land on shore for a fascinating forest walk with one of the onboard Naturalists.
Day 11
Get ready to be amazed by the unadulterated beauty of Champagne Bay, one of the world’s most beautiful beaches. Spend the day relaxing on its powdery sands or opt to explore the rest of the Espiritu Santo Island with its scenic coconut plantations and interesting local villages. As always, the ship’s Discovery Team will be on hand to arrange a variety of watersports including kayaking, snorkelling, stand-up paddleboarding and diving.
Day 12
In a change from the white sands you’ve become accustomed to, the volcanic island of Ambrym introduces dramatic black-sand beaches and impressive volcano-crowned scenery. Hiking, swimming and snorkelling are all possibilities today and there’s a chance to meet some of the local community and see some of their traditional crafts.
Day 13
A tropical paradise awaits on Efate Island where a spellbinding coastline frames a lush interior filled with tumbling waterfalls. Explore the breathtakingly beautiful landscape or learn about Pacific Island life on a tour of the Pepeyo Cultural Village.
Day 14
Tanna Island’s Mount Yasur is known as the world’s most accessible active volcano. Ascend to its smoking summit for a once-in-a-lifetime chance to get close to this geological wonder or soak in the hot springs at its base. Other options include visiting Tanna’s Blue Cave or one of the island’s spectacular waterfalls.
Day 15
After a busy week, there’s time to unwind and socialise on board, enjoying the fantastic facilities and seamless service with newfound friends.
Day 16 - 20
The second largest city of Fiji is where your cruise ends. Meet a seaplane transfer to the award-winning adult-only Tokoriki Island Resort for five nights of blissful beachfront relaxation. A true haven of tranquillity, this is the perfect place to end your South Pacific experience.
Day 21
Take a seaplane back to Nadi and transfer to the airport for your international flight home.
