Overview

Quintessentially Jamaican and often described as 'a small iconic hotel', Jamaica Inn dates back to the 1950s and was very much a hot spot for Hollywood aristocracy and British nobility. This resort offers a relaxing and stylish holiday.

The 55 spacious suites, bungalows and cottages are spread over a lush 8 acre property each offering breath taking views of the ocean. Each suite also benefits from a private balcony or large veranda to enjoy the refreshing sea breeze. No televisions or radios, only the surround sound of the sea.

Guests can savour international cuisine with a Jamaican twist on their veranda, on the beach or at the open-air restaurant whilst enjoying uninterrupted views and listening to live music each night.

Experience the healing touch of nature at the Ocean Spa, the spa menu features treatments drawn from the plants of the island, sourced from local organic farmers.

Climate

January to March is the peak travel season when the island and resorts are at their busiest. April and May can be a pleasant time to visit when average temperatures range from 22 degrees to 30 degrees, rainfall is relatively low and the main resorts are less crowded. Keen sailors and enthusiastic spectators shouldn’t miss the Easter Regatta. This 4 day event held in March or April annually brings an exhilarating atmosphere to the picturesque Montego Bay and welcomes locals and visitors alike to take part.
