Dream

The villas are either set on a hill or within the garden nestled amongst the rainforest or close to the beach. Connected by wooden walkways, the resort's signature accommodation, the Sea Villas rest on stilts above the emerald green sea. There are also Spa Villas conveniently located on the part of the island that is home to the luxurious spa. All the villas are finished with traditional Malaysian artwork and some offer outside balconies and large bathtubs with rainforest views.

In addition to the main resort, there are eight amazing Estates with two, three or four bedrooms ideal for families or large groups of friends.

Eat

Start the morning with breakfast at Feast Village, with its interactive kitchens that serve a selection of Asian and international dishes. Fisherman’s Cove, situated adjacent to the Spa Village, features a symphony of seafood themed dishes for dinner, carefully crafted by Chef Wai.

Built around a rocky outcrop overlooking the sea, Uncle Lim’s Kitchen specialises in dinners of Nyonya and Hockchew Chinese-style home cooking.

Relax and unwind with a cocktail on the terrace of the Royal Bay Beach Club, with its views of the infinity pool of the sea beyond. Asian and international favourites are available for lunch and dinner.

For a chilled out snack, head to Bar located in the Spa Village, for its healthy salads and speciality juices. The resort can also arrange a private dining experience in special locations around the resort.

Play

Soak up the sun next to one of Pangkor Laut Resort’s two swimming pools (one exclusively for spa guests) or be cooled by sea breezes while practising yoga on the Spa Villa Deck. A game of squash or tennis and a trek through the rainforest with the resident naturalist? All on hand. Guests can even charter a yacht and explore the Straits of Malacca.

Unwind

The Spa Village is a unique retreat that draws on the healing cultures and rituals that are amongst the oldest in the world. The abundance of Malay, Chinese, Indian and Thai practices makes this the ideal setting for complete rejuvenation.

The complimentary 45-minute pre-treatment Bath House ritual that accompanies any 50-minute deluxe spa treatment is an experience unto itself and should not be missed.

The Spa Village comprises a number of specially built structures that include a deluxe Belian Treatment Pavilion, three Healing Huts, which include Chinese Herbal, Ayurvedic and Malay Huts, two Bath Houses, three Spa Huts, three Nap Gazebos and a Spa Boutique.

There’s a wealth of romantic experiences available: an intimate dinner by candlelight at Fisherman’s Cove, a sunset cruise on board a teakwood Oriental junk, a guided jungle walk with the Resident Naturalist and a treatment for two at the award-winning Spa Village.
