As the first fully-fledged destination spa in Sri Lanka guests can expect a spa experience that is second to none at Santani. The spa at the resort is built over three levels, perfectly tucked into the hillside’s natural contours, and features Sri Lanka’s first-ever comprehensive hydrotherapy facilities in the country. Guests will enter on the ground floor where they will find the reception and consultation rooms. The wellness journey will then begin in the hydrotherapy level to warm up the body before the treatments. This level is home to a steam room, the cedar wood sauna with its glass wall looking onto emerald paddy fields and the open-air thermal salt soak pool. Finally guests will indulge in a range of treatments in the lowest level which features four lavish treatment rooms, one of which is designed for couples. Indeed, a true wellness journey is different for everyone which is why each guest experience is personalised based on an assessment of body composition, current lifestyle, stress, fitness, emotional state and future goals.
