Eat

The main restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch, buffet style, with dinner slightly more formal, when fine linens, shining cutlery and sparkling glassware dress the main restaurant, and a delicious four course Table D’hôte menu is served along with live music played on the Steinway piano.

For an alternative start to the day, head to Paula’s Corner for hot breakfast options and specialty St Lucian hot breakfasts.

The lunch menu features a number of Caribbean dishes including the exciting Sugar Pot Barbecue cooking station . Or dine with a difference - in private thatched gazebos, perfect for honeymoon couples and for guests seeking a touch of romance.

For refreshments, the Sunset Bar is open all day, well into the evening, and for a ‘country house’ party feel, try the Clubhouse, perfect for pre and post dinner drinks. And for budding mixologists, the swim-up Pool Bar provides the opportunity for guests to test out cocktail making skills and serving their fellow guests.

Play

The crystal clear waters are pretty tempting both for a cooling dip and as a playground for a host of activities, including Hobie Cat sailing, snorkelling and paddle-boarding. Caribbean Divers, one of Saint Lucia’s premier dive shops is also located just a short 200-yard stroll down the beach.

For more involved water-sports excursions, the resort team can help arrange scuba diving, deep-sea fishing and whale watching. Rightly proud of the gardens, the hotel also offers a tour with the Head Gardener once a week. There are also Yoga sessions, Pilates classes and cocktail making lessons offered as part of the weekly programme of events.

Fitness equipment, including a treadmill, stationary bike, and elliptical trainer are available in the Yoga Pavilion.
