Overview

The unspoilt island of Koh Kood which Soneva Kiri calls home sits in the the Gulf of Siam and is Thailand as it was years ago; untamed jungle, pristine beaches, fishermen going about their business, ancient Siam, at peace with itself!

Guests are personally met on arrival at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi airport and transferred to the resort's own aeroplane for the one hour flight to the Soneva Kiri airfield. From the air, the beauty of untouched Thailand and Koh Kood adds to the experience. Upon landing, guests are greeted by their own Mr or Ms Friday - who will be on hand during the entire stay - and escorted on the five-minute Aquasense power-boat crossing from the airfield; a warm welcome and electric buggy ride to their Villa awaits.

Local architecture and crafts inspire the rustic-chic design of the resort, like the poles that bring to mind the stilts of the local fishing villages, all sustainably built with recycled wood. Soneva Kiri offers barefoot luxury, where 'no shoes, no news' is offered with a touch of Thai style.
