A favourite resort for me would be Maritim Resort & Spa in Mauritius with its lush gardens, beautiful beaches and so many activities – I couldn’t resist a bit of snorkelling but I wasn’t brave enough for waterskiing, maybe next time! The location is great for experiencing the markets of Grand Baie and partaking in a little local rum tasting. And not forgetting the giant tortoises in the grounds and the wonderful sunsets!
