Immerse yourself in Japan’s vast history and culture, from the picturesque village of Shirakawago, to the vermillion ‘floating’ torii gate at Itsukushima Shrine. Tokyo is famous for pioneering innovation, neon cityscapes and soaring skyscrapers. Yet, it is also dotted with peaceful parks, shrines and tranquil gardens. Its mania for pop culture, anime, fashion and digital trends blends in alongside historical temples.
