Itinerary

place DAYS 1 - 2 - Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls

Welcome to Victoria Falls, what makes this destination so memorable is the fact that it is perfectly combined with warmly hospitable people, exquisite scenery and an array of adventurous activities. Excellent game, historic ruins, fishing and luxury train travel are easily accessible from Victoria Falls, as are the neighbouring countries which border this fascinating town.

Whether you decide to wander through the lush rainforests above the Victoria Falls, take a meander through the town centre, or get your adrenaline pumping by white-water rafting, bungee jumping or abseiling the amusement never ends.

place DAYS 3 - 5 - Chobe National Park

Chobe National Park

Moving on to Chobe in Botswana, which is synonymous with elephant, where you can witness unforgettable sightings of the gentle giants frolicking in the waters, or moving slowly through desert-like stretches of sand, ears flapping to the slow rhythm of nature. Here in their natural environment, the splendour of majestic creatures can truly be appreciated. Chobe National Park boasts four distinctly different eco systems: the spectacular Chobe floodplain and river to the northeast, the Savute Marsh in the west, the Linyanti Swamps in the northwest and, in-between, the hot dry hinterland of Nogatsaa and Tchinga. With an elephant population well in excess of 40,000 (reputedly the largest in the world), Chobe's river and floodplain area ranks among Africa's premier safari destinations. Fill your days with morning and afternoon game drives, Chobe River cruises and eco tours.

place DAYS 6 - 8 - Moremi Game Reserve

Moremi Game Reserve

Continue on to Moremi Game Reserve, situated in the central and eastern areas of the Okavango Delta, boasts one of the richest and most diverse ecosystems on the African continent. Moremi covers nearly a third of the Okavango, the largest inland delta in the world and exceptionally picturesque, its landscapes unforgettable and filled with abundant life. Choose between morning and afternoon game drives to explore the many different ecosystems that the reserve has to offer or the possibility to explore the Xakanaxa Lagoon and its surrounding channels by boat. End your days off with sundowners round the camp fire, telling tales of all the wildlife sightings you witnessed.

place DAYS 9 - 11 - Okavango Delta

Okavango Delta

Your last stop on this safari extravaganza takes you to the heart of the Okavango Delta. Newly declared as a World Heritage site, is the world’s largest inland delta, and is a maze of deep lagoons, large lakes and hidden, meandering channels. Cruise the vast expanses of water from the comfort of a modern motorboat or explore the intricacies of the Okavango Delta the quiet old-fashioned way, in the traditional mokoro (dugout canoe). For those wanting to get a little closer to nature, guided bush walks are conducted on a number of the nearby islands, offering an opportunity to track some of the larger land-based species that inhabit this water wilderness. Birding opportunities are outstanding and anglers may put their skill against bream and tiger fish. Camp Okavango is a water-based camp and game-drive activities, using safari vehicles, are not possible.
